Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Bed (UASB) mainly transforms the organic substances (restores) into methane and CO² through the metabolic pathway of anaerobic microbial groups to achieve the purpose of removing organic matter concentrations such as COD and BOD in the removal of organic water concentrations in wastewater. Because the biochemical metabolism path of anaerobic microorganisms is different from general good oxygen microorganisms (activated sludge process, etc.), correlation characteristics such as the production of aeration, low energy consumption, low waste sludge output, and energy recovery and reuse ( marsh gas).
